We build online stores for businesses in Dubai and across the UAE, on Shopify when it fits and custom when it does not. The store takes local payments, follows the UAE rules on Arabic and VAT, and is registered to your company.

Published 2026 prices for an online store in Dubai: AED 18,000 to 35,000 for a customised Shopify theme and AED 55,000 to 110,000 for custom Shopify work (Digital Gravity), AED 15,000 to 110,000 and more for an e-commerce site (Element8), and AED 10,000 to 20,000 for a basic store up to AED 90,000 to 180,000 for a custom platform (Cubix). The platform and the payment provider then charge every month and on every sale.

Before Nakhoda, Antonin Ribeaud built platforms that take payments and serve large audiences. Each entry says where and in which role. All of it, or the full record on arelion.dev.
Of all the developers and engineers I've worked with (125+ and counting over 21 years), I've never met one who could balance such a calm, tolerant personality with the often insane workloads he took on. If you get the chance to work with him, take it.
Each item below is in the scope we price, unless the scope says otherwise.
Shopify for a standard catalogue and checkout; custom when your pricing, stock or approval rules do not fit it.
Products, variants and photos brought in from your files or your old store.
Cards, Apple Pay, Jaywan through a UAE gateway, and buy now, pay later with Tabby or Tamara if you want it.
Product pages, checkout and emails in both languages, as UAE consumer law requires.
Prices and invoices that show the 5% VAT, with invoices in Arabic.
Shipping zones, delivery fees and the return and exchange terms shown before purchase.
The store, the payment accounts and the domain registered to your company.
Shopify's UAE plans start at $32 a month for Basic paid monthly, and a store that uses a payment provider other than Shopify Payments pays an extra 2% on each sale on that plan. Card processing has its own rate: Stripe's UAE page lists 2.9% plus AED 1 for each domestic card payment. A quote that shows only the build hides these, so our scope lists every monthly and per-sale cost next to the price.
The UAE Consumer Protection Law asks for data, advertising and contracts aimed at consumers to be in Arabic, other languages allowed alongside, and asks online stores registered in the UAE to give product, payment and warranty information in Arabic. Its executive regulation sets a fine of AED 100,000 for the Arabic rule. Digital Gravity puts a right-to-left layout at AED 12,000 to 25,000.
VAT in the UAE is 5%, and registration is required once taxable supplies and imports pass AED 375,000 a year.
Shopify Payments works in the UAE. Outside Shopify, gateways such as Telr publish plans from AED 199 a month, and Network International and Telr accept Jaywan online.
Tabby and Tamara let customers split a purchase into up to 12 payments and pay the store upfront. Neither publishes its merchant fee, so it is part of your own agreement with them.
You can stop after the quote without paying anything.
You explain the problem and what the software has to change in your business. Antonin asks the questions that decide the price.
We send a written scope that lists the screens, the integrations, the data and what is excluded.
One fixed price and a delivery date for that scope. If you stop here, you pay nothing and keep the scope.
A first working version early, then a new one every week. The final 20% is due when you accept the build.
2026 agency guides put a customised Shopify store at AED 18,000 to 35,000 (Digital Gravity) and an e-commerce site at AED 15,000 to 110,000 and more (Element8). Our price is one fixed figure for a written scope, with the monthly platform and payment costs listed next to it.
Shopify when your catalogue and checkout are standard: it is cheaper to run and to change. Custom when your pricing per client, your stock rules or your approvals do not fit it. We decide it in the scope.
The Consumer Protection Law asks for consumer data, advertising and contracts in Arabic, with other languages allowed alongside, and its regulation sets fines for missing it. We build both languages in from the start.
Shopify Payments works in the UAE for Shopify stores. Otherwise Stripe, Telr and Network International all serve UAE merchants, with different fees and onboarding. We compare them for your volume in the scope.
Yes. The store, the payment accounts, the domain and the code are registered to your company.
Every figure on this page comes from one of these pages, read on 30 October 2026. Most of them are published by agencies that sell these services.
Antonin Ribeaud, the founder, reads each request himself. If the project fits, the next step is a call, then the written scope and its price. The scope costs you nothing, and you keep it even if you build with someone else.
